Feeling Rich and No- I'm Not Talking About Money

Updated: Apr 19

I'm sitting here at my kid's piano practice, watching him learn how to play the piano, I'm feeling rich. And no- I'm not talking about money.

I'm Rich B**ch

Feeling rich is an energy you embody. It's you deciding that money has nothing to do with feeling rich. I'm rich in so many things, love, happiness, peace, health, joy, etc. Rich means wealthy/abundant, but abundant in what?

Decided To Start Writing More Vulnerable Journal Type Posts Here...I'm calling them Soul Musings

When I was younger I always wanted to learn to play piano and never had the opportunity, it's wasn't something my parents could afford. But now- it's something I'm able to give my son. To me that's so huge. And I'm not rich in money- honestly, we are in the lower income brackets. My husband works and I stay home and homeschool the kids- so we don't have extra money. We choose this lifestyle to prioritize things that matter most to us. (Do what works for you)

This is why I think it's so important to see your other riches. What have you prayed for that you have received? Really think back. Was it joy? Was it peace? Was it to leave a situation that you are now out of? What it something small that you missed the opportunity to see?

For me, I've prayed for the ability to give my family, my kids, opportunities and experiences that I never had- not things. And if you look at my income- it wouldn't really make sense- but somehow a way is always provided. So I sit here in deep gratitude for the blessings and abundance that I receive in many ways.

When my son wanted piano lessons- I thought I couldn't afford them. Because I had grown up poor and had that mindset that I couldn't have things if I didn't have money. And while in our society- money tends to rule- if you change your mindset-it doesn't have to rule you. He first needed a piano or keyboard- one with weighted keys that would allow him to learn properly. I thought I couldn't afford one- they were like over $500 for the cheapest ones- but somehow I found one (almost new) on Facebook marketplace for a fraction of the price. Something I prayed for.

Then I thought I couldn't afford lessons because I was seeing different prices out of what I could afford. I prayed, I visualized and meditated on the outcome I wanted- which was cheaper lessons close to my house (I live in bfe so most lessons are 45 mins away). Soon a lady posted on Facebook wanting to start doing piano lessons with homeschool kids again, and because she loves it so much-she doesn't charge a lot. She is also within 20 minutes of my home. Another prayer answered.

Look For The Riches

This is why I think it's so important to SEE! Look for the good, look for the abundance, the riches. It's there. But you have to be able to see it.

Whatever you look for comes to you. The universe is like an algorithm and just like when you like or watch a bunch of videos on TikTok or Instagram, it gives you back what you want to see. So if you want to see the good, the beauty, the abundance, the riches- LOOK FOR IT!

In money- I am not rich- but I am in many other things. This doesn't mean "bad" things don't happen, this just means you are choosing to put focus on your riches instead of what you don't have.

Ending Thoughts

I share these thoughts in hope that it will encourage you to look for the riches you have. Daily. This will change your life. It will create a new reality. I'm serious. Try it.

Also- a book I love is The Law Of Divine Compensation. This can help you understand this frequency a little more. I got a cheap used copy off Ebay for like $5.
