Home Protection Prayer, Herbs and Ritual

A home protection prayer and ritual is something that I do to keep my home protected and free from any negative energies. I like to do it quarterly with different herbs or flowers that are seasonal. Creating a home protection prayer or spell is an easy way to create a ritual around protecting your home with prayer, visualization, and herbs and florals with protecting properties.

Prayer vs Spell

To me - a prayer and a spells are very similar, or the same. They are both saying an incantation or words to influence or have assistance in certain events or situations. Praying is spells- spells usually use candles or other elements like we are using when we make our protection blend (below). But if you have been to church, you know that they also use candles and other tools when praying. When I am using a spell- I am asking for the divines assistance. I am not saying that I have power over it. And maybe some people do spells in a different manner or way, but I am sharing how I feel and what I do. With any prayer or spell, I think it is important to make it your own- use your intuition and do what feels good to you!

Making a Home Protection Herbs Blend

I like to use what herbs and florals I have on hand or that I have grown myself. Herbs and florals all have different spiritual properties that can aid in our home protection. This can be different each time you do the spell and ritual.

I do have Home Protection Herbs Blend available if you cannot make one, or want to buy one ready for you, infused with loving and protecting energy. If the home protection herbs are sold out, Purify is also a great option to use.

Some Home Protection Herbs You Can Use

Here is a list of some herbs I have used in my home protection ritual. There are so many herbs and florals out there- this is not a complete list but some of my favorites.

• Sage- Sage has been long time used for protection, cleansing and purification. It is said to ward off negative energies and create a sacred space.

• Lemon Balm- This herb is uplifting, adding a positive peaceful aspect to the prayer.

• Cinnamon- Cinnamon is a very powerful herb in protection, I like to include this every single time. It brings strength, abundance, and prosperity to the spell.

• Rosemary- Known for cleansing and protecting properties. Smells good too!

• Garlic – A classic protective herb, used to ward off negativity, harmful energies. You can even use the garlic stem/ middle after you have eaten the garlic. They look like little brooms- sweep away the negativity!

• Lavender – Promotes peace, wards off bad energy, and protects against negativity while inviting love and tranquility.

• Basil- Attracts good fortune and dispels negativity. Used to cleanse a home and invite peace and protection.

• Salt (often mixed with herbs) – Not an herb itself, but commonly combined with protective herbs to create a powerful barrier against negativity.

For flowers- You can use any dried flowers that you have. Use flowers from your yard or garden if you can. Or whenever I buy my weekly flowers at the store for my home- I cut them off at the end and dry them to use in my home protection spells. Flowers carry high vibrations uplifting the blend and spell. I like to use roses the most, they are a very high vibration flower, I use them almost every time. Can be fresh or dried.

You can also add your favorite spiritual oil to the protection herbs as well. I like to use my Protect And Prosper oil when doing this ritual.

How To Make The Home Protection Herbs Blend

Gather whatever herbs, florals, and oil choices you have made. Place them into a vessel of your choice, could be a jar, a bowl, a plate, whatever you like. Something that brings beautiful energy. Next, your going to add the prayer and intention.

Creating The Home Protection Prayer

Create your own home protection prayer/spell by adding what you want in the protection of your home. You are going to write this prayer specifically for you. In my prayers, I like to call of the divine creator and also talk to the trees in my yard to ask them for help in protection and I call in angels. Use words that resonate with you.

Here are a few examples of a home protection prayer

• Divine light, surround this home with peace and protection. Let no harm, negativity, or ill will enter into this boundary I create. May love, joy, and harmony fill all the space here, and may all who dwell here be safe. So it is, and so it shall be.

• I call upon the creator to form a shield around this home. Let it stand as a fortress against all harm, negativity, and ill intent. May this space be filled with love, joy, and peace, and may all who enter bring goodness and kindness. This home is protected now and always.

• God, I ask for your protection over this home. Let no darkness cross this threshold, no ill will take root within these walls. May this space be a sanctuary of safety, harmony, and warmth, where only goodness may dwell. So shall it be.

How To Use The Home Protection Blend

1. Place In Vessel- After you create your protection blend or buy one with good intentions, you should have then placed your blend in a beautiful vessel that you will carry around with you during the ritual.

2. Pray over the blend- Put your hands into the protection herbs while you are praying, break them up, move them around, give them deeper intention. Use the prayer that you made while doing this. You can leave this home protection herbs blend on your altar if you have one, or a beautiful place in your home. Write the prayer on a piece of paper and place under the vessel to add extra intention for how ever long you want.

3. Walk The Boundary- After you have prayed over the herbs, maybe once, maybe a few times, whatever you decide. Walk around the boundary of your home, saying the prayer out loud or to yourself, sprinkling the home protection blend you made around the boundary of your home. You can sprinkle it the whole time, place the blend only at the corners, decide how you want to use the blend- whatever you like is great! After you have done this you have set your boundary home protection spell.

   
   

   Quick protection- if you can't get a blend together and there is a reason you want to protect your home quickly (like storms)- simply go outside put your hands up and visualize your home being protected. How To Tap Into The Home Protection Spell

You can tap into this protection spell when you go to bed, wake up in the rising, leave your home for the day, or whenever you want to protect your home.

First, you will visualize yourself walking around the boundary of your home, see a glowing white light where you are walking. Say your boundary protection prayer/spell. Then visualize a white glowing dome rising from your boundary protecting your home like a bubble or shield. You have now tapped in and confirmed your prayer again with more beautiful energy and intention.

Why I Love This Home Protection Prayer

Visualization and prayer/spells are amazing ways to create things in our reality. Our thoughts and intentions really do influence our reality in a major way. Bringing great intention and things filled with a divine spiritual energy to your home is a great way to uplift the energy of your home and bring in love and peace. When something has an uplifted energy, negative energies have a harder time reaching it!
